The tradition of corporate architecture in Europe
In the early 1910s Walter Gropius designed the Fagus Factory in Alfeld on the leash a milestone in European industrial architecture. The steel and glass architecture is regarded as trend-setting work of the " New Objectivity " .
The presentation by Joachim Wendt to illustrate this interesting and quite typical European way of recognition of selected examples of the last 100 years: as prime examples of successful corporate architecture , among other things , the buildings of Behrens AEG or the Olivetti towers Eiermann apply . Shown are then examples of the past 20 years , including BMW , Mercedes, Apple and Siemens.
